Please look around your house and make sure your child has not brought home their library book on accident.  We have a few missing books that are not in our classroom

end of the year

The end of the school year is near and we still have so much to learn.  Please continue to work with your children reading simple text.  Also counting things around the house will help with number quantities and addition and subtraction. 

field trip

Thank you so much to all the parents that helped on our field trip.  We would not of been able to do it without your help.

Field trip

Our field trip is fast approaching.  Please make sure on the day of the trip your child is wearing the appropriate shoes and clothing.  We will do a lot of walking.  Pack their lunch in a disposable bag so they do not have to carry anything back home.

Parent teacher conferences

Please remember parent teacher conferences are tomorrow.  If you do not remember your time please email me and I will send you your time.  If you are not able to make it let me know so that we can schedule another time. 

Next week is intersession.  If your child has been invited please make sure they are at school by 8am.  They will get breakfast and lunch. 

Have a great spring break we will see you all back at school on March 28th. 

Summer

Summer is right around the corner and sooner then we would all like the children will be moving into first grade.  Please make sure you are helping them grow by reading and writing as much as they can.  Count with them when ever possible.  Sneaking it up on them on the drive to Walmart is a great way to make the most of your time in the car together. 

Valentine's Day

We will have our Valentine's day party on Thursday at 2pm.  All store bought treats are welcomed. 

Also if you are interested in volunteering for our field trip please make sure you have filled out the packet in the office and gotten you fingerprint card.

Progress reports will be coming home on Monday.  Be on the look out for those.  Also some of the students have been invited to attend intercession please look in their folders or backpacks for the paper.  It needs to be signed and returned as soon as possible.
