Break

We are so excited to have some time to enjoy our families.  I would just like to let you know we will be doing our DIBELS test as soon as we return from break.  Please continue to work with your children on letter names and sounds.  Breaking words down into their sounds and identifying the fist sound in each word. 
Also remember to count with them in places they don't expect.  For example counting the steps to the car or the at a stop light.

Field Trip

Reminder

We need lots of volunteers for our field trip.  Please see Mrs. Patty to get the volunteer packet and fingerprint info as soon as possible.  Our goal is to have one adult for every 4 students.  It takes 4-6 weeks for fingerprints to clear.

If you are able to donate any of these items please send them in with you child as soon as possible.

Help your child identify their name in text.

Don't forget to read with your child daily.  Help them track the words as you read to them.

Welcome

I am so excited to be at STH elementary.  I have been a teacher for 15 years.  I have taught in several school districts including Mesa and JO Combs.  . Kindergarten is my favorite grade level to teach.  I love to see the growth the children make through out the year.
